Rapper Nick Blixky was found fatally shot on a Brooklyn street Sunday night, police said.

His body was discovered on Winthrop Street in Prospect Lefferts Gardens at around 9:30 p.m. A YouTube video clip appears to show Blixky on the ground of an intersection as officers arrived. Police said he suffered a gunshot wound to his torso, New York Post reported.

“He look like he dead,” a witness said. “Seven times he got shot.” The witness also falsely passed the blame on to the police saying they were responsible for the shooting. Blixky was rushed to NYC Health & Hospitals, where he was pronounced dead.

Born Nickalus Thompson, Blixky, 21, showed great promise in music. His first mixtape “Different Timin” was slated for a release on June 6.

Nasir Fisher, purportedly Blixky’s brother, mourned his death on Facebook. “My heart broken,” he said. “Rest in peace to my brother Nick Blixky. Watch over me brody.”
