‘Real Housewives Of Atlanta’ Cast: Was NeNe Leakes Fired From Bravo Series?

“Real Housewives of Atlanta” Season 13 has begun filming, but a new report claims NeNe Leakes has not officially signed on for the new season.

Throughout Season 12 of the Bravo series, NeNe was at odds with a majority of her castmates, which resulted in a tense reunion. After having several explosive arguments with the women, NeNe abruptly left the gathering and later revealed that she didn’t know if she would return for another season.

Despite the rumors that NeNe has been fired from the Bravo series, a source told Page Six that conversations about her future on the network “are still ongoing.”

In May, NeNe told People that she needed to consider whether it would be in her best interest to return to the “RHOA” when the new season begins.

“I don’t know. I just don’t know. I got back and forth with it every day. I feel like it’s a big conversation I need to have with the network and with production,” she explained.

“Because if they value their talent in some sort of way, then we need to talk. We need to come up with some sort of compromise here.”

NeNe revealed that staying indoors amid the coronavirus pandemic has made her gain a new perspective on life. “This time, being quarantined has really made me appreciate a lot of things about my life anyway,” she said.

“I keep saying to people, ‘I want my life back.’ I can’t have these girls fighting with me on TV for no reason anymore. I’ve got to move forward. And if that’s all you want from me, I have to move on, and I got to go. Me and my wig got to leave, honey.”

Bravo has not addressed rumors surrounding NeNe’s return to “The Real Housewives of Atlanta.”
