‘Real Housewives Of Atlanta’ Season 11 Cast Rumors: Was Shereé Whitfield Fired?
Following months of rumors claiming “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star Shereé Whitfield was fired ahead of Season 11, the star has finally answered questions from fans who were curious to know whether she lost her peach.
On Monday, Shereé used the “Ask Me A Question” feature on her Instagram Story to interact with fans. While she answered questions about travel, divorce and marriage, several fans were more interested to know whether or not the television personality was fired from the Bravo reality series.
When one fan asked if Shereé would be returning to “RHOA,” the star revealed her salary played a role in her voluntary exit. “Currently living my best life. Was not interested in entertaining low ball offer that was sent. Know your worth,” she replied to the question.
Meanwhile, another fan implied Shereé was fired, but the star denied being terminated. “Fired…..No hunni, declined,” she wrote.
After appearing as a main cast member for six seasons, Shereé revealed she refused to accept a demotion to appear in a friend role to a main cast member. She told one fan she is “worth more than a friend.”
Although Shereé is no longer part of the cast, she told her Instagram followers she still keeps in touch with some of her former co-stars. The reality star stated she has been in contact with Kim Zolciak and has reached out to Nene Leakes.
While Kim is not expected to appear in Season 11 of the series, Nene has reportedly begun filming scenes alongside Kandi Burruss, Cynthia Bailey, Porsha Williams, Eva Marcille and Marlo Hampton.
In her Instagram “Ask Me A Question” session, Shereé went on to tease fans about her relationship with boyfriend Tyrone Gilliam, who is serving time in a federal prison.
One individual inquired about whether Shereé was still dating the former Penn alum or if she moved on to someone new. Rather than give a direct answer, she replied with a, “Hmmm,” along with the thinking face emoji.
Although fans will no longer be able to follow Shereé’s journey on “RHOA,” she revealed she is “working on some great projects” and hinted that fans may see her on TV “real soon.”
Bravo has yet to release an official announcement confirming the “Real Housewives Of Atlanta” Season 11 cast.
