Bravo has officially released the first trailer for Season 8 of "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" and it looks like viewers are in for a drama-filled treat. The show's cast was shaken to its core after losing veteran cast member NeNe Leakes. It appears, however, that they've found some suitable ladies to fill her shoes.

As was reported by Us Weekly, the short teaser introduces viewers to some new, yet familiar, faces. "Facts of Life" actress Kim Fields and actress/former NFL cheerleader Shamea Morton have agreed to join the show's cast. While the jury is still out on Shamea, it seems Kim, 46, will have no problem fitting in -- and holding her own -- among this wild cast. During the two-minute preview she is shown imparting some serious wisdom on the "RHOA" ladies at various points in Season 8. Also appearing in the upcoming season will be Shereé Whitfield, who previously starred on "RHOA" from 2008 to 2012. As expected, Shereé's return will be followed by a ton of drama.

In addition to casting shake-ups the "RHOA" cast will be heading into previously unchartered territory as they each enter new stages in their lives in Season 8. Kenya Moore will spend a majority of the installment focused on finding love, while Cynthia Bailey and husband Peter Thomas fight to keep their love alive amid much controversy. Similarly Phaedra Parks, whose husband Apollo Nida famously entered prison during Season 7, will work on getting back in the dating game while making big decisions about her two young sons' relationship with their imprisoned father. Pregnant Kandi Burruss will be faced with juggling a career and a growing family in Season 8. The trailer also suggests she and hubby Todd Tucker may suffer a slight pregnancy scare at some point in the season. Fingers crossed all goes well!

Although it wasn't featuring in the Season 8 preview, it is believed that there will be a physical altercation between two cast members in an upcoming episode. As we previously reported, Porsha Williams was allegedly kicked in the stomach by co-star Cynthia Bailey while cruising around Atlanta on a luxury yacht Sept. 1. TMZ reported that Porsha, 34, and Cynthia, 47, were involved in a screaming match which eventually escalated into something physical. Cynthia is said to have tried to walk away from the situation, but Porsha reportedly refused to drop it. After she began screaming in Cynthia's face, the super model is said to have defended herself, kicking Porsha in the stomach. The entire altercation was caught on film by Bravo's cameras.

According to Bravo "RHOA" will return Sunday, Nov. 8, at 8 p.m. EDT. Check out the explosive Season 8 trailer below:
