‘Real Housewives Of Atlanta’ Star Nene Leakes Gets Emotional After Addressing Photo Leak

Nene Leakes was brought to tears after receiving an overwhelming amount of support ahead of what could be Gregg Leakes’ last surgery.

Nene first informed fans about Gregg’s cancer in June. Although she didn’t share many details about his diagnosis, fans, friends and even frenemy Kim Zolciak reached out to support her during the difficult time. While Nene has been keeping her followers updated about Gregg’s fight, she was unprepared for the responses she received in her latest Instagram post.

On Monday, Nene shared a photo of two hands in the prayer position along with a lengthy announcement about what’s next for Gregg.

“My hunni is having what we hope and pray is his last surgery towards a full recovery today! It will be a long surgery so we are asking you to pray for the surgeon’s hands, pray for Gregg’s comfort please! Prayers, strength, peace and kindness for myself, his children, family and friends during this time! Amen (come on pray warriors) Lord I tell ya, sometimes you never know what a person is going thru! I will update you all on IG,” she wrote.

Nene later admitted she was touched after seeing the heartwarming comments from her followers. “Reading some of these prayers are bringing me to tears. Thank y’all,” she wrote under the picture.

News of the star’s emotional state amid her husband’s battle with cancer comes after she addressed “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” Season 11 leaked photo. The picture featured Kandi Burruss, Porsha Williams, Shamari Devoe, Tanya Sam, Eva Marcille, Nene and Cynthia Bailey.

While some of the women looked camera-ready, other cast member appeared to be in need of a reshoot. Following the leak, Nene shared a picture of herself from the day of the shoot and dismissed claims the image was the official cast picture Bravo planned to release for Season 11.

“It SUCKS to have a LEAKED cast photo out there that doesn’t represent some of us in the best light! funny how this only happens with #RHOA cast! Just know that this is NOT the OFFICIAL cast photo! Soon come #RHOA @bravotv,” she captioned the photo.

“The Real Housewives of Atlanta” Season 11 is expected to premiere later this year.
