'Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills' Star Yolanda Foster Sells Malibu Home Due To Lyme Disease Battle; Celebrates On Instagram
Yolanda and David Foster are moving on to bigger and better things. "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star couple put their Malibu, California, mansion on the market in February 2014 after deciding the square footage was simply too much for Yolanda, 51, who is currently battling Lyme disease. Their home has officially sold, and from the looks of things they couldn't be happier.
As was reported by Us Weekly, Yolanda took to Instagram to share a special moment between her and David, 65. In the caption she revealed the good news about their move with fans, calling it a "beautiful ending" to that chapter in their lives. She went on to say that they'd had a lot of "colorful memories" in the home that would stay with them for a lifetime. The picture shows the "RHOBH" star and her husband locked in a sweet embrace while kissing in front of the sunset. It is unclear how much their 11,622-square-foot home sold for at this time, though it was initially listed for more than $27 million.
Yolanda and David decided to sell their home three years after the Bravo reality star received her Lyme disease diagnosis. In an interview with the Daily Dish by Bravo, the former model said she and her husband were looking to downsize because of her condition. Yolanda told the publication she was no longer able to "run this almost 5-acre property." She added that with just one of her three children still living at home a smaller house seemed more fitting for their family.
While the "RHOBH" star continues to focus on her intense recovery, she remains a full-time cast member on the popular Bravo series. She recently jetted to New York City for the Global Lyme Alliance Gala with "RHOBH" co-stars Kyle Richards, Erika Jayne and Kathryn Edwards. Kyle, 46, shared photos from their cross-country private flight, telling fans she and the girls were "NYC Bound." It was later revealed that Yolanda brought her cast mates along for the event, which David was the co-chair of. It is uknown if the girls trip was filmed for Season 6 of the Bravo show.
