Reason Behind Chris Brown And Karrueche Tran Breakup Revealed: Couple Splits As Brown Heads To Jail

Chris Brown may call Karrueche Tran his “heart,” but that does not mean he did not talk to other women behind her back while they were together. The couple, who has been involved in a love triangle for years, split up once again last week.

On March 12, Brown confirmed their split, tweeting to fans, “KAE will always be my heart. That ain’t changing.” Just days prior, Tran had also written a message to fans, stating that she is “not dating anyone.”

It was unclear why they broke up, and initially fans believed he would get back together with Rihanna, which is usually the scenario. Also, Page Six reported that in February Brown “started texting Rihanna on her birthday [Feb. 20], and the two have been sending each other a flurry of texts ever since.” According to the source, “Rihanna didn’t write back right away. ... But later that night she started getting sentimental and texted back, ‘thank you,’ and asked how he was. Since then, the two haven’t stopped texting each other and friends are freaked out that she’s going to start dating him again.”

However, rumors of reconciliation ended abruptly, as Rihanna is reportedly dating fellow rapper Drake.

Now, TMZ reports that Tran broke up with Brown because he refused to stop contacting other women he was seeing on the side. The relationship actually ended well before they publicly confirmed it in March. While Brown was in rehab for 90 days recently to deal with anger management issue, Tran visited him and saw that his phone was filled with inappropriate texts from other women. This irritated Tran mostly because she has stood by his side as he deals with his court battles, even going to hearings.

Meanwhile, things have only gone downhill for Brown, who was kicked out of the rehab center last week. He now has to spend over a month in Men's Central Jail in downtown Los Angeles until his criminal assault case goes to trial in April.
