'Red Band Society' Season 1 Spoilers: Watch The Nurses And Patients React To Nurse Jackson's Suspension In 2 Sneak Peek Videos From Episode 7

“Red Band Society” Season 1 episode 7 is not going to go well for Dr. McAndrew (Dave Annable). He had to suspend Nurse Jackson (Octavia Spencer) last week after she altered Charlie’s (Griffin Gluck) files to keep him at the hospital. From the looks of the latest sneak peek videos, it doesn’t seem like he’ll find much support from the nurses or patients.

Sneak Peek No. 1

Kenji (Wilson Cruz) and Brittany (Rebecca Rittenhouse) are both picking up the slack without Nurse Jackson around. It seems that since Kenji has been there longer, he is getting more of the work. They get a chance to sit down and eat tacos, but Dr. McAndrew excitedly interrupts them.

“Yes, taco day!” Dr. McAndrew says. “I’ve been thinking about this through my entire appendect—seriously? Nobody could’ve grabbed me an extra taco?”

“Well technically, somebody could have, but fetching tacos for doctors isn’t really part of being a nurse,” Kenji explains. “It’s more of a thing that friends do, and since you fired your friend …”

Brittany offers to get him a taco, but Kenji threatens her with enema duty before she can finish her sentence. Dr. McAndrew leaves and Brittany apologizes.

“I’m sorry,” Brittany says. “I’m just not good at taking sides, especially when one of the sides has George Clooney hair and could father my future children.”

Sneak Peek No. 2

The kids at the hospital aren’t happy about Nurse Jackson’s sudden suspension either. They want to write a letter to “the powers that be” demanding Nurse Jackson’s return. As usual, Kara (Zoe Levin) can’t follow anyone else’s lead.

“It’s adorable that you guys are getting all civil rights-y about this, but I slept until 9 a.m. this morning and it’s been 24 hours since someone watched me pee in a cup. Isn’t it kind of better without her here?” Kara asks.

Hunter (Daren Kagasoff) crept into the room and backed up Kara. “Think about it: there are millions of hospitals all over the world,” Hunter says. “Somehow they all manage to function without your precious Nurse Jackson. You think she’s losing sleep over you?”
