A 54-year-old man, named Donnie Wayne Gilliard, was arrested by the Charleston County Sheriff’s Office for keeping his pets under dreadful conditions and was charged with two counts of ill-treatment of animals.

An unidentified couple spotted the eight-foot-long, 18 pounds heavy snake in the backyard of their Pennsylvania residence on Oct. 4.

A woman was gravely injured and was considered to be in a critical condition after four of her own pet French mastiff dogs bit her. The officers responded to a 911 call at around 2.30 p.m. EDT, Monday.

The victim, Kyra Strachan, told the court that she was on the dance floor before she was attacked from behind and dragged down the floor by the accused, Danielle Gaffar.

Calling All Cats, a rescue group, said the children “were sticking sticks up his rectum and they damaged his jaw by tossing him around and kicking him.”

The police said they were investigating the death of six people from the same family, who allegedly died under mysterious circumstances between 2002 and 2016.

The man was returning from his morning walk and was a resident of the same building as the woman.

“Though it was a stray dog, I got it vaccinated regularly and sterilized. As it had a collar, it indicated that it was a pet. It should not have been harmed. The civic body should be informed,” the lady looking after the dog said.

A snake catcher said, “When we got there we had to dismantle the stove and it was right up near where the clock timer is on the old stoves.” He added, “It was wrapped all through the wires and the thermostat and we had to gently get the snake out.”

The police arrested a woman and her son for discarding twin pre-mature babies Thursday morning. The authorities took action based on complaints by a doctor at the hospital where the mother of the twins was admitted.

After six hours of negotiation, the authorities decided to deploy the K-9. The dog approached the suspect and bit him but the man retaliated and bit the dog on the back of its neck.
