  • Candiace Dillard warned Porsha Williams about spreading "lies," saying it's a dangerous move
  • The "RHOP" star said she hasn't met Williams in person and had no issue with her until she lied about her
  • Dillard called her "RHOP" co-star Monique Samuels the "toxic piece of the puzzle" on the reality show

"Real Housewives of Potomac" star Candiace Dillard has hit out at "Real Housewives of Atlanta" vet Porsha Williams for allegedly defaming her.

Dillard, 33, spoke to Page Six in an exclusive interview, where she dished on her issues with Williams and "RHOP" co-star Monique Samuels. She also explained why she called Williams "the sidekick of all" during her appearance on the "Behind the Velvet Rope with David Yontef" podcast.

"I don’t know Porsha, I’ve never met her, I know her through the television like everyone else," Dillard told Page Six. "And I never had an issue prior to being sent a clip of her on 'Chat Room' with my castmate Gizelle, lying and spreading false information — damning, defaming information — about me and alleging I was trying to sue Monique to secure a down payment on my home."

Williams has defended her friend, Samuels, on several episodes of Bravo's "Chat Room." During the Dec. 6 episode, she told co-hosts Gizelle Bryant, Hannah Berner and Kate Chastain that Samuels told her she believes Dillard only sued her for financial gain.

“She [Monique] felt like, the whole reason Candiace was suing her was to pay for her mom’s house,” Williams said. “She was suing because it was a money grab.”

Dillard's "RHOP" co-star Bryant immediately dismissed Williams' theory, reminding her that Samuels never mentioned that on the show during their reunion. "This was said to me personally out of Monique’s mouth," Williams explained.

Williams' statement did not sit well with Dillard. The "I See You" songstress warned Williams about how dangerous lying can be for her.

"Yes, I responded in an interview because it’s one thing for you to defend your friend, it’s one thing to talk general smack about me in defense of your friend, but when you flat out lie, yes, I’m going to address it," Dillard said. "She should be careful about the lies that she tells. It’s a very dangerous move.”

In the same interview, Dillard spoke about the future of the show as it heads into its last two episodes of 2020. She said "RHOP" has become a "vat of toxicity" and that Samuels was the "toxic piece of this puzzle" for spreading rumors and false information about their brawl. She also alleged that Samuels pays and influenced bloggers.

"Monique is the toxic piece of this puzzle, and I don’t see a path forward for her with the majority of this cast," she added. "I don’t think that based on her unethical behavior and violent behavior that she deserves this platform anymore."
