Rihanna, A$AP Rocky 'Affectionate' During Dinner With Pals After His Arrest: Report

Rihanna and A$AP Rocky had a good time with some pals over the weekend.

The "Diamonds" singer, 34, showed off her bare baby bump when she stepped out with her 33-year-old boyfriend Saturday.

An unnamed source told People that the couple had a "happy and relaxed" dinner with an intimate group of friends at Giorgio Baldi in Santa Monica, California, following Rocky's arrest earlier that week.

"It was a happy and relaxed group. Rihanna looked great. She sat next to A$AP and they were affectionate," the insider said. "They dined for a couple of hours. The focus was very much on Rihanna and the baby."

The outing comes days after Rocky, born Rakim Mayers, was arrested Wednesday at Los Angeles International Airport in connection with a shooting that took place in November 2021.

The "Praise the Lord" rapper was detained by the Los Angeles Police Department after flying home from Barbados, where he and Rihanna had vacationed for several days.

Rocky got into a heated argument at the time with an "acquaintance," and the rapper allegedly fired a handgun at the unnamed victim, who sustained minor injuries. The victim claimed that Rocky fled the scene on foot with two other men.

Rocky was charged with assault with a deadly weapon (firearm), which is a felony, and his bail was set at $550,000. He was released from jail later that day.

The musician's next court date was set for Aug. 17.

A source told Us Weekly that the Fenty Beauty mogul "hasn’t spoken much" about the arrest and is "truly focused on her pregnancy and not trying to get too stressed."

However, the unnamed insider said Rihanna plans to "do what she can to help" Rocky, adding that the pregnant singer "loves ASAP and wants him to be by her side when she gives birth."

Rihanna and Rocky announced their pregnancy in January when the mother-to-be revealed her baby bump as they were photographed together during an outing in New York City.

The singer previously told People that "it's fun" but also "a challenge" to play with fashion while pregnant.

"I like it. I'm enjoying it," Rihanna said in February. "I'm enjoying not having to worry about covering up my tummy. If I feel a little chubby, it's like, whatever! It's a baby!"
