Rihanna Mocks Teyana Taylor's Singing On Instagram, Responds With Harsh Message
Rihanna may be coming after artist Teyana Taylor, allegedly dissing her on Instagram Tuesday. The 24-year-old star posted a video showing her hairstylist, Yusef, donning a long wig and fitted hat while jokingly singing Anita Baker’s “Caught Up in the Rapture.”
The video seems to be mocking Taylor, who also has long black hair and wears a fitted hat in a video she posted of herself singing the same song just two weeks ago. If Rihanna was in fact trying to make fun of Taylor, it would not be the first time the Barbadian beauty has caused drama with a fellow artist. She has also made fun of Ciara in the past via Instagram. Taylor's fans were quick to tell the singer, who is signed to Kanye West’s GOOD music label, about Rihanna’s latest antics.
One user wrote Taylor, saying, “@teyanataylor rihanna coming for you on her page [sic]. She got some dude with a weave singing caught up in the rapture.”
Taylor was quick to reply, “I know b—ches aint throwing sublimal’s dat sh-t for punks [sic.] If they gone come at me @ my name. A b—ch can play with everybody else but don’t play with me. Thank you.”
Rihanna may want to take heed to Taylor’s comment, as back in 2011, Taylor reportedly got into a brawl with a movie director while on the set of the movie “Gang of Roses 2.”
The 22-year-old proceeded to post a photo on Instagram Tuesday showing a man boxing along with the caption, “Indirect talk will get you…DIRECTLY F—KED UP!” Rihanna has yet to respond.
