Robert Pattinson To Face Several Baddies In 'The Batman' Movie; Zoe Kravitz Showed Off New Look
Many fans are now thrilled for the upcoming “The Batman” movie, which will star Robert Pattinson as the new Bruce Wayne. The former boyfriend of Kristen Stewart was named as the new Batman in May after some negotiations with Warner Bros. Now, new reports are claiming that Robert’s character will have a lot of adversaries in the imminent new film.
It was, previously, confirmed that there will be four main villains in “The Batman” movie, which include John Turturro as mafia boss Carmine Falcone, Colin Farrell as the Penguin, Paul Dano as the Riddler and Zoe Kravitz as Catwoman. The news of having multiple foes in the film raised the brows of some DC fans.
Luckily, Variety offered an answer as to why there would be a lot of villains in the new Batman movie. It revealed that Warner Bros. might consider making a spinoff movie for each baddie should the movie succeed and work out. The outlet noted that cast members of “Birds of Prey” and “The Batman” can appear in standalone films and sequels.
The entertainment news publication added that the entire movie would take place in Arkham Asylum, which houses the so-called super-criminals. It remains unclear, however, if the forthcoming film will add more villains to its lineup. However, it was, already, confirmed that Andy Serkis, Jeffrey Wright and Jayme Lawson will be joining Robert in “The Batman” movie.
Besides Robert Pattinson, Zoe Kravitz has also been preparing for her role. In fact, the 30-year-old actress showed off her new pixie cut and stronger cheekbones in a recent Instagram post. “hair,” Zoe captioned the photo.
The snap sent some of her close pals and fans into a frenzy. “Luh u like ALL of our fave foods!!” Nikki Nelms wrote in the comment section. “OMGGGGGg,” Ryan Korban said. “Cutest,” Myles Hendrik stated.
In 2015, Zoe Kravitz revealed that she failed to land a role in “The Dark Knight Rises” movie since she was too modern to be a part of it. “In the last Batman movie [The Dark Knight Rises], they told me that I couldn’t get an audition for a small role they were casting because they weren’t ‘going urban,’” the co-star of Robert Pattinson told Nylon Magazine. “It was like, ‘What does that have to do with anything?’ I have to play the role like, ‘Yo, what’s up, Batman? What’s going on wit chu?’” she went on.
