Rumer Willis Gets ‘DWTS’ Tattoo Removed Due To Val Chmerkovskiy ‘Heartbreak’?
Rumer Willis recently got her “DWTS” tattoo possibly due to Val Chmerkovskiy.
According to Page Six, Willis developed feelings for Chmerkovskiy after the two were paired together in the hit ABC reality TV competition. However, they never got into an official relationship with each other.
After winning the competition, Willis had “DWTS” tattooed on her right bicep. But in November, she started having the ink removed after Chmerkovskiy’s relationship with his girlfriend, Jenna Johnson, became more serious.
A source reportedly told the publication, “Rumer was so infatuated with Val when they won, she got the giant tattoo of them dancing together. Now she feels like a fool, so she’s now undergoing this painful tattoos removal.”
Meanwhile, another source said that Willis wasn’t as affected by Chmerkovskiy and Amber Rose’s relationship as she is with the pro and Johnson. After all, Rose and Chmerkovskiy split after dating only for a few months.
However, none of these claims about Willis getting her tattoo removed because of Chmerkovskiy have not been confirmed.
In 2015, Chmerkovskiy and Willis denied that they were dating each other. The two appeared on “The Howard Stern Show,” and the host told Bruce Willis and Demi Moore’s eldest child, “I see, like a lot of people on ‘Dancing With the Stars,’ you’ve fallen in love with your dance instructor… I don’t want to see you get hurt if he goes to camp next year and starts messing around with his new dance partner.”
Willis told Stern that she joined the show to focus on herself and not to find love. In fact, she and her ex-boyfriend even had to break up shortly before the season premiered.
The mirror ball trophy recipient added that dating her partner would’ve made it hard to work with him professionally. “If you hook up, it’s done. It’d be shit,” she said.
In other news, Chmerkovskiy and Johnson seem to be having a wonderful relationship. In August, he said that they are in a good place at the moment and are in love.
