Ryan Reynolds Holds His Ears While Signaling His Daughters On Camera: 'Hi Guys!'
In a cute gesture, Ryan Reynolds greeted his kids from "Good Morning America" when he appeared on the show Wednesday. The actor revealed his two out of three daughters -- Inez, 4 and James, 6 were really excited about his recent television appearance.
The 44-year-old actor said on the show, "Today was really the first day they were like, 'Wait, you're gonna be on TV today?'"
The "Deadpool" star noted that his daughters still do not realize that their parents are famous celebrities. He recalled replying to his daughters, "I was like, 'Yeah, I'm going on Good Morning America.' They're like, 'What's good about it?'"
The innocent question from Reynolds' daughters made the co-hosts Robin Roberts, George Stephanopoulos and T.J. Holmes burst into laughter immediately.
Reynolds went on to explain that his daughters asked him to say "Hi" to them on camera.
"And they're like, 'Can you say hi to me?' And I was like, 'Sure, I'll say hi to you guys.' But they wanted me to pull my ear to say hello, and then 'Nezzy,' my younger daughter, wanted me to like, rub my sleeve," Reynolds explained while holding his ears and rubbing one of his sleeves.
"Hi guys! How are you?" the actor eventually said, looking at the camera.
Reynolds has three daughters with his wife, Blake Lively. His third daughter, Betty, is 11-months old. The couple got married in 2012 after meeting on the sets of "Green Lantern" in 2011.
Reynolds and Lively recently celebrated their 10th anniversary of being together and visited the restaurant named O Ya, where they went for their first date.
Lively took to her Instagram Stories to mark the milestone and wrote, "10 years later. We still go out on our “first date”. But in MUCH more comfortable shoes." A fan shared the screenshot of the Instagram Story on Twitter on Sunday.
On the work front, the actor will be next seen in the action-comedy movie "Free Guy," which is slated to release on Aug. 11. The movie is helmed by Shawn Levy and also stars Jodie Comer, Pokimane, Taika Waititi, Jacksepticeye and Joe Keery in the key roles.
Lively will be featured in the thriller movie "The Husband's Secret," based on Liane Moriarty's novel.
