Salma Hayek Dishes On Awkward Encounter With Naked Masseur And Why She Didn’t Run From Him

Salma Hayek has shared a funny story about her awkward encounter with a naked masseur.

During a recent guest appearance on Chelsea Handler’s Netflix show, Hayek divulged how she handled meeting a male masseuse who stripped naked for their massage session. According to the 50-year-old Mexican actress, it all started when she asked for a massage while she was staying in a hotel in Austria. At the time, she was desperate to relieve herself from the back pain she was experiencing that she agreed to have a male masseuse massage her.

“I was desperate I have some back problems. And they said, ‘We only have a man.’ And I prefer to have a girl. But I was desperate. I said ok bring him,” Hayek was quoted as saying by People. Things turned awkward instantly when she saw that the masseur was naked and wasn’t wearing any shorts. “I see the hairy legs and I go wait a minute. He was not wearing shorts!”

When the “Beatriz at Dinner” star asked the masseur why he wasn’t wearing anything, the latter told her that some clients preferred him naked during the session. But, of course, Hayek is not one of those clients. Nonetheless, she did not end up running away from the masseur. Instead, Hayek sent him to her friend, who was staying just next door.

Meanwhile, Hayek recently opened up to DuJour about aging and why she decided to not have Botox. “I don’t believe in Botox because your face doesn’t move, and it’s something you have to do for the rest of your life, more and more every time,” she said.

“If there was something you could do that would keep you looking good, I would do it,” she said. “But I’m in love with my husband, and I want to look like a lovely lady when I’m 70. I want him to see me and think, ‘Okay my girl is old now, but there’s still beauty there.’”

Hayek is married to French businessman François-Henri Pinault. They tied the knot in 2009 and share a daughter named Valentina Paloma Pinault, who is now 9.
