Samsung Galaxy S7 Realistic Concept Video Shows The Brilliant Note 5-Like Design
Recent reports showed the protective cases specific to the upcoming Galaxy S7. Now, a new concept video of the Galaxy S7 shows the brilliant exterior design, created with the help of leaked configuration details.
Artist Jermaine Smit’s Samsung Galaxy S7 concept shows the handset from every angle, making it look like the only handset to watch out for in 2016. The exterior design resembles the Galaxy Note 5 with the same tapered back, Phone Arena reported.
The video also shows the Galaxy S7’s rumored 12-megapixel BRITECELL rear-facing camera module. However, it is not as protruding as the predecessor Galaxy S6. Smit has also portrayed a slew of color combinations for the handset.
According to past rumors, Samsung will be unveiling four versions of the S7 lineup namely the flagship S7, Galaxy S7 Edge, Galaxy S7 Edge Plus and Galaxy S7 Plus. Now, Evan Blass of @evleaks fame has confirmed that the South Korean tech giant will release three models, namely S7, S7 Edge and S7 Edge+.
All the aforementioned handsets will reportedly be introduced on Feb. 21, just before the MWC 2016 conference scheduled in Barcelona. This will apparently be followed by the release in March 2016.
Moving on to the rumored Galaxy S7 specifications, the device is believed to come powered by both Exynos 8890 and Snapdragon 820 chips. While the Qualcomm chip will reportedly head to the U.S. and China, rest of the world will see the Exynos powered variant.
This device is also expected to carry a 5.1-inch Super AMOLED display, 1440p resolution and Gorilla Glass 5 protection. On the software front, Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS will run the handset out of the box. Hi-Fi audio, 3D Touch-related features and support for Cat. 12 LTE connectivity have also been tipped.
