Scheana Shay Claims She Had A 'Throuple' With John Mayer, 'Hills' Star Stacie Adams

Reality TV star Scheana Shay dropped a bombshell recently when she revealed that she was involved in a sexual relationship with singer John Mayer and “The Hills” alum Stacie Adams.

Speaking in the “Flashbacks” podcast, the 35-year-old actress shared the story about her connection with the musician, saying that it all started in the year 2008 when she was working at the Grand Havana Room as a bartender, People reported.

Shay noted that she met Mayer just before his separation from actress Jennifer Aniston in 2008. The star also opened up about how she drank with the former couple and ended up getting “wasted” with them.

“Every time they did a shot, they would get me a shot. They invited me to go back to her place in the Palisades after for an after-party,” People quoted Shay, as saying.

Later in the discussion, Shay claimed that the “Gravity” singer came back to the club after his split from the “Friends” star and asked for her number. At the time, Shay was living in an apartment with Adams.

The reality star and Adams became really good friends with the musician. However, the friendship quickly turned into a fling.

“This went on for about six months, that we hung out. We would go to his house. It just became, you know, kind of the three of us. We had a little throuple going on. But then there was, like, me and another her. Everyone always had attention,” Shay said during the interview.

When one of the hosts asked the star if Shay meant that she had a sexual relationship with the musician, the actress confirmed that she did.

However, things did not work out for them as things quickly got complicated. In the interview, she admitted that she became “jealous” of the “Hills” stars when she got to know that the singer “liked her” more. She also lost her job because of the relationship.

“I definitely got a little jealous towards the end of it because I knew he liked her more. And I was like, 'Wait, I brought you into this, like and now you're getting more attention than I'm getting, like what's up with that?' And then even after him and I stopped talking, they continued talking,” Shay said.

Shay concluded by saying that it was because of her relationship with Mayer that she ended up getting a breakthrough on “Vanderpump Rules.”

“So if it wasn't for John Mayer, I wouldn't be on ‘Vanderpump Rules,’” Shay said.
