Tim's (Scott Porter) departure from Team Scorpion will leave an impact not only on Paige (Katharine McPhee), but also the rest of the team in "Scorpion" Season 3, episode 12. CBS

“Scorpion” Season 3 recently saw Tim (Scott Porter) leaving Team Scorpion so he could pursue another job in Jordan.

In the upcoming episode, titled “Ice Ca Cabes,” Walter (Elyes Gabel) seems to be the only member of the team who is happy with Tim’s departure. In the sneak peek released by CBS, Toby (Eddie Kaye Thomas) asks his friends why they are eating donuts from another store. Sylvester (Ari Stidham) reminds Toby that Tim was the one who lived close to the other bakery. Now that he is no longer part of the team, no one will be able to give them the yummier variant. Sylvester also went on to tell everyone that Tim’s decision to leave the team won’t only affect their choice of snacks, but also the number and kinds of cases Team Scorpion will be in charge of.

Upon hearing this, an irritated Walter reminds his friends that Team Scorpion will survive without Tim. He went on to say that everyone in the team is replaceable, and it is just that Tim was the first one gone. Walter also reminds each of his friends what their contributions are to the team. But when he said that they could find a younger and fitter agent, Cabe Gallo (Robert Patrick) couldn’t help but feel concerned because he is the oldest in the group.

Meanwhile, Tim’s departure will also leave a huge impact on his girlfriend, Paige (Katharine McPhee). In episode 12, Paige will try to avoid Walter at all costs because she believes that he’s responsible for her boyfriend’s decision to work elsewhere. However, Paige and Walter’s issue won’t last very long. Executive producer Nick Santora told TV Line, that the two characters are the true relationship of the show.

“Scorpion” Season 3, episode 12 will air on CBS on Jan. 2 at 9 p.m. EST.
