‘Scorpion’ Season 3 Spoilers: Paige, Walter Won't Get Into A Relationship Despite Tim's Departure

“Scorpion” Season 3 previously revealed that Tim Armstrong (Scott Porter) will be leaving Paige (Katharine Paige) and Team Scorpion for a job in Jordan. However, even though he will be away from them, Tim’s departure doesn't mean Paige and Walter (Elyes Gabel) will get into a relationship anytime soon.

While speaking with TV Line, executive producers Nick Wootton and Nick Santora revealed that Paige will give Walter the cold shoulder because of how the latter treated her boyfriend when Tim was still around. In the previous episodes, Walter tried to exclude Tim from Team Scorpion by offering to give him a separate office inside the elevator. This, along with other reasons, led Tim to take the offer in Jordan, where he can have authority over his people.

Despite his decision to go to a different country, Paige and Tim will continue to have a long distance relationship. The couple didn’t break up when the latter decided to take the job opportunity.

Paige will be furious at Walter, and the latter would feel bad for encouraging Tim to leave. As a result, Walter tries to make amends with the help of Paige’s mom, con artist Veronica (Lea Thompson). Paige will also reach out to her mom for some relationship advice.

“Eventually, Paige realizes that if Walter is going to make any emotional headway, she needs to follow advice that her mom gave her. And when Walter is trying to be kind to her without any ulterior motives, interesting developments arise,” Wootton said.

Santora reminded fans that Walter and Paige are the main pairing of the hit CBS show. This means that Walter will not only try to make it up to Paige, but he will also try to pursue his longtime crush.

“Scorpion” Season 3, episode 12 will air on CBS on Jan. 2 at 9 p.m. EST.
