Selena Gomez And Justin Bieber’s Dinner Date Details: Did He Try To Win Her Back?

Selena Gomez, 22, might not be reuniting with Justin Bieber, 20, any time soon. “The Heart Wants What It Wants” singer recently went out to dinner with Bieber, but she reportedly didn’t get the response she was hoping for from her ex. The two ate at Mastro’s Steakhouse in Beverly Hills on Jan. 15, according to TMZ.

Gomez didn’t want to see Bieber originally, according to Hollywood Life, but he left so many messages at her hotel that she felt like she should. The dinner apparently wasn’t very romantic. The two allegedly ordered a few appetizers and left in less than an hour without eating much, and Bieber mostly talked about himself.

“It was a huge disappointment for Selena because he’s basically the same Justin … all talk and all talk basically about himself,” a source told Hollywood Life. “He was bragging about himself the whole time, and how 2015 was going to be his best and most successful year ever. Selena thought he was going to try and win her back and profess his undying love, but he didn’t.”

Gomez may have been hoping that reports of Bieber’s jealousy were true. Bieber supposedly felt threatened by Gomez’s new relationship with Zedd, a 25-year-old DJ and producer. The two were seen holding hands and posing on the red carpet at a Golden Globes after party.

The “Come And Get It” songstress wasn’t the only one moving on. Bieber was rumored to be dating Hailey Baldwin after paparazzi spotted them socializing on several occasions.

While Bieber’s reunion with Gomez may have become a conversation about himself, Bieber might realize that mistake. The Calvin Klein model was recently spotted reading James Allen’s “As A Man Thinketh,” according to the Daily Mail. Perhaps the book, which focuses on self-improvement, will help Bieber better communicate with his ex.
