‘Shades Of Blue’ Season 2, Episode 6 Synopsis Released; What Happens In ‘Fracture’?
Harlee (Jennifer Lopez) is not yet done investigating the shocking death of Caroline (Mimi Michaels).
“Shades of Blue” Season 2, episode 6 will focus on two major storylines: Harlee’s investigation of Caroline’s murder and Wozniak’s (Ray Liotta) search for the mole in their team.
In the previous episode, titled “Sweet Caroline,” Harlee was shocked to see a lifeless Caroline lying on the ground. Not only did she see Caroline the night before, but she also happens to be her then-boyfriend’s ex-fiancée. Upon careful investigation, Harlee also discovered that the gun used to shoot Caroline was hers. The gun was apparently stolen from her by Bianci (Ritchie Coster), the man who has been trying to take her down throughout the first few episodes of the season.

When Harlee told James (Gino Anthony Pesi) that Caroline has been killed, he couldn’t help but feel emotional about it. James regrets the fact that he did not welcome Caroline into his apartment the night before because Harlee was there with him. Towards the end of the episode, James asked Harlee to leave him for good. He broke up with her because he realized that nothing good comes out of their relationship.
But despite her recent breakup, Harlee will try her best to get justice for Caroline’s death. This way, she could also help give James the peace of mind that he deserves. But since she used to have a personal relationship with him, Harlee will find it difficult to share some details about her investigation with James.
Elsewhere in “Fracture,” Wozniak feels that someone has been talking about him negatively to Verco (Dov Davidoff). In the previous episodes, Verco has reached out to Loman (Dayo Okeniyi) to gather information about Wozniak, Harlee and the rest of their group. Loman, who is always kept in the dark, will start his own investigation into Wozniak’s secrets.
“Shades of Blue” Season 2, episode 6 will air on NBC on April 9 at 10 p.m. EST.
