'Shang-Chi': Simu Liu Shares Behind The Scenes Of His Bus Stunt [Video]

Simu Liu shared behind-the-scenes stunt footage from his highly anticipated movie, "Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings" on Instagram Wednesday.
The 32-year-old Canadian actor could be seen performing the stunt in front of a blue screen with wires. In the video, the actor runs on the top of a bus and grabs the handle at the end of it as he falls down.
A stuntman standing behind the bus could be seen trying to help the actor but Liu lands safely on his own. "The hype train has left the station, so grab on and hang tight," the actor wrote in the caption. "Make history with us on September 3rd."
Many celebs took to the comments section to share their reactions.
Canadian actress Chantal Thuy was simply amazed by the stunt as wrote, "Wow" with clapping and fire emoji. Actor Leonard Wu also commented, "Yoooo" with the fire emoji.
Actor Bart Kwan commented, "Dam that was freakin sick!!!!" while singer AJ Rafael wrote, "Badass. Can’t wait."
Figure skater Michelle Kwan, who starred in "Ice Castles" also commented, "So cool."
Fans shared their excitement for the Friday release. One of the fans noted, "I will wake up on September 3rd, having nothing in my mind but this movie."
Another fan commented, "Ready to (finally) go back to the cinema. Shang-Chi is, of course, the first movie I’ll be seeing."
"Shang-Chi" is all set to release in theaters on Friday. The story revolves around a criminal organization, which calls itself "Ten Rings." How the martial arts master deals with the mysterious organization will unfold further in the story.
The action-adventure is helmed by Destin Daniel Cretton and also stars Awkwafina, Tony Leung Chiu-wai, Fala Chen, Michelle Yeoh and Florian Munteanu in key roles.
On Aug. 29, Liu shared his training video with some of the movie's stuntmen.
"Part of the joy of being an actor is the process of becoming one with a character," he captioned the video. "Whether it’s jazz piano, tap dancing or beating the living daylights out of people, a performer inhabits the character and fully gives themselves to the transformation process."

Besides "Shang-Chi," the actor is currently filming, "Arthur the King" while "One True Loves" is under pre-production.
