Shiba Inu, the second-largest altcoin in the world, has been under heavy selling pressure for months, but things are about to "get interesting" next week. Its lead developer Shytoshi Kusama just made a massive tease about a development in the Shiba Inu ecosystem that could boost SHIB's price.

Following a tweet last week hinting at the possibility of a Shiba Inu-Red Bull collaboration, Kusama shared another exciting information that hyped the Shiba Army again. "Thanks for letting me push in silence for this week. Next week things will begin to get interesting," the pseudonymous developer tweeted over the weekend.

Kusama did not share any details about what the team has planned for the community next week but they previously mentioned that the development team is simultaneously working on different projects, so it could be one of those that he tweeted about.

Kusama also shared a new update about the highly anticipated Shiba Inu Games and congratulated PlaySide Studios for a job well done. "Also seen some GREAT art from @PlaysideStudios for our Shib CCG. Can't wait to share. Great work mates," they said.

CCG is an acronym for Collectible Card Game, which the team plans to launch to add more utility to Shiba Inu. Kusama mentioned a few days ago about a SHIB narrative that transcends to other elements of the Shiba Inu ecosystem and beyond.

"I’ve created a story that spans not only this galaxy but the next while giving a continuing plot for the game and MV (without imposing any limits),” the lead developer said. This narrative "gives depth to the Shib CCG story, making it more than just memes, battle cards, and awesome art," Kusama said in a blog.

Some Shiba Inu holders believe the pseudonymous lead developer as teasing about the launch of Shibarium, while others claim it has something to do with another partnershib. Since nothing has been confirmed yet, all those claims about what could the Shiba Inu dev team announce next week are just speculations.

Shiba Inu was trading down 1.81% at $0.00001195, with a 24-hour volume of $323,569,888, as of 7:23 p.m. ET on Sunday, based on the data from CoinMarketCap.
