‘Sister Wives’ Robyn Brown Pregnancy Update: Is Kody’s Wife Expecting A Baby Boy Or Girl? [POLL]
Baby Brown is almost here! In just a few months, the Brown family, who stars on the hit TLC series “Sister Wives,” will welcome yet another member into their large, plural clan. Robyn Brown is reportedly due to give birth to her and Kody’s second child together on Jan. 7, 2016. But before Kody’s 18th child arrives, the couple is asking fans to guess the sex of their precious bundle.
“Do you think Robyn’s having a boy or a girl??” a post on the “Sister Wives” Facebook page reads, along with a link that allows viewers of the reality show to cast their vote. Audiences can also share their predictions on Twitter using the hashtags #missbabybrown or #misterbabybrown.
Robyn and Kody, who were spiritually married in May 2010 and legally married in December 2014, announced that they were expecting another child together in June. “We are so happy to announce an eagerly expected new member of the Brown family!” the excited parents told People magazine in a statement.
The couple welcomed their first child together, Solomon, in October 2011. They're now in the process of getting Kody legal rights to Robyn’s three children Dayton, Aurora and Breanna, from her previous marriage.
The adoption of Robyn’s kids has played a pivotal role in the Season 6 storyline of “Sister Wives.” In fact, during episode 3, the Brown family’s lawyer divulged that Kody’s chance of adopting Dayton, Aurora and Breanna were looking pretty good – that is, if Robyn’s ex makes the adoption process “easy” by complying with the legal procedure.
Robyn explained in a previous episode that the father of her children was dodging her lawyer’s phone calls, making it difficult for Kody to gain legal custody over the three kids – who each confirmed in episode 2 that they wanted to be legally adopted by the Brown patriarch.
“The fact that we're getting adopted is, like, awesome,” Aurora, Robyn’s eldest, said after Kody broke the news to her and her siblings that he wanted to become their legal guardian. “I feel like I fit in here and stuff.”
“Sister Wives” airs Sunday nights at 9 p.m. EDT on TLC.
