"Sister Wives" star Christine Brown is getting her own show after leaving her plural marriage to Kody Brown.
On Sunday, the reality star, 49, and TLC announced via Instagram that Christine has landed her own culinary spinoff, "Cooking With Just Christine," and shared a 30-second trailer of the upcoming web series.
"A taste of something new!" Christine and TLC wrote in identical posts. "#SisterWives' Christine will be bringing you some of her favorite recipes on the new digital series #CookingWithJustChristine, dropping every Sunday [on Instagram] and on TLC.com."
In the sneak peek, Christine can be seen working in the kitchen, creating delicious goodies and baking sweet treats.
"I'm Christine Brown, you know me from 'Sister Wives,'" she said in the teaser. "But what you might not know is how much I love to cook."
Christine told fans that she will be sharing some of her favorite recipes that "are not only delicious but [also] super easy to make."
At one point, the mom of six is joined by two of her daughters, Truely and Mykelti, both of whom she shares with ex-husband Kody.
Mykelti, 25, joked of the homemade treats, "I'm probably going to eat them in the car."
Fans flooded Christine's post with supportive messages, saying that they were happy to see her getting her own show and that they plan to watch "Cooking With Just Christine."
"Yay for her and TLC for supporting her so she isn't relying on Kody!" one fan wrote, while another user commented, "Congrats, Christine!! Sooo happy for you! I'll definitely be watching!"
"Love that she has her own show! Go Christine," a third netizen commented. "I love her voice, will be watching definitely," another supporter wrote.
In November last year, Christine announced her separation from Kody after more than 25 years together. Kody is still maintaining his plural marriages to Janelle Brown, Robyn Brown and Meri Brown, though his relationship with Meri, 51, is no longer romantic.
Months after their breakup, Christine spoke candidly about her split from Kody on the third part of "Sister Wives: One on One," which aired Sunday.
"It's not just a marriage I'm leaving," Christine revealed on the tell-all special. "It's a whole family. And it's 'Sister Wives.' And what does that do to us? I don't know."
In addition to Mykelti and Truely, 11, Christine and Kody also share son Paedon, 23, and daughters Aspyn, 26, Gwendolyn, 20, and Ysabel, 18. The Brown family has 18 children in total.
Despite her worries over her decision to abandon her plural marriage to Kody, Christine doesn't regret taking this step.
"I've got to live my life for me too. I wasn't present. I wasn't happy. It just wasn't working anymore," she admitted.
Christine ended her "spiritual" union with Kody after he told her that "the intimate part of our marriage is over." She clarified that she didn't want a partial union and wasn't "OK with staying in a marriage where there's no intimacy."
During Sunday's reunion special, Kody admitted during his chat with host Sukanya Krishnan that he should have "validated" Christine's concerns instead of being arrogant. He added that he never wanted Christine to walk away from their marriage and had been willing to "do some counseling" with her to make their relationship work.
"Fast forward to this moment and grief has settled in," Kody was quoted by People as saying. "Now, I just look forward to [the] healing process, managing it and coming to a place where we're friends again. We had this experience and that's over and [now she can] have a good life and be well, be happy. But I'm still in a grieving process now."
Kody still wishes the best for Christine despite their separation. "I hope she gets married, I hope she has a wonderful relationship, I hope she's happy," he said.
