‘Sleepy Hollow’ Season 4 Spoilers: Malcolm Dreyfuss’ Past Revealed In Episode 5 ‘Blood From A Stone’ [VIDEO]
Homeland Security Agent Diana Thomas (Janina Gavankar) finally accepted her daughter Molly’s (Oona Yaffe) role in the fight against demons and supernatural threats in last week’s episode of Fox’s “Sleepy Hollow.” John Noble appeared as a demon’s version of Henry Parrish in a spiritual trial of his father Ichabod Crane (Tom Mison).
What will happen next on the show?
The focus will shift from Molly, Diana and Crane to tech billionaire Malcolm Dreyfuss (Jeremy Davies). “Sleepy Hollow” Season 4, episode 5 will see him get closer to completing his mission. However, an important aspect of his past will come to life. The villain’s former partner Ansel (Bjorn Dupaty) returns to settle a score from several years ago.
In fact, it becomes increasingly clear to Diana and Ichabod that Dreyfuss’ has been involved in the supernatural world for a long time.
The preview of the upcoming episode, titled “Blood From Stone,” provides major spoilers. Ansel was actually dead. He is now a violent and deranged warlock.
Diana and Ichabod are called to investigate Dreyfuss’ office building when a few of his employees are injured. He informs the supernatural fighting duo that this is the work of Ansel.
Unfortunately, the building has been placed under lock down due to the threat. Which means, everyone in the building, including Crane and Diana, are at the mercy of a vengeful warlock. Things get worse when the agent points a gun at Ansel and he uses his magic to kill her.
“Sleepy Hollow” Season 4 has been declining in ratings since its premiere. But episode 4, which saw Noble reprise his character as Ichabod’s estranged son, ticked up. According to TVLine, it drew an audience of 2.15 million and a 0.6 rating. Still, it may not be enough to keep the series going another season. After all, most fans still miss lieutenant Abbie Mills (Nicole Beharie).
“Sleepy Hollow” Season 4 airs Fridays at 9 p.m. EST on Fox.
