Snooki Lip Injections: Former ‘Jersey Shore’ Star Plumps Pout Like Kylie Jenner, Posts Instagram Picture
“Jersey Shore” alum Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi went from fist pumping to lip plumping. The pint-sized reality star took to Instagram Monday to reveal that she’s gone under the knife -- well, under the needle -- just like “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” star, Kylie Jenner. Now, she also has an enviable pout.
Snooki went to Dr. Kassir Ramtin, a New York plastic surgeon who has been featured on “Real Housewives of New Jersey” and “The Doctors”-- among other shows. “Welp I did it kids! Tried my first lip plumping and so doing more #noshame thanks doc for not killing me @drkassir,” the mother-of-two captioned her "after" picture. In the past, she has pouted her lips and asked her followers if they looked like Kylie’s.
Snooki, 27, decided to get the procedure because her old kisser was a major insecurity for her. “I've always hated my thin lips and never thought I had the b---- to get needles in my lip to perfect them but I did! Trust me girls, I was terrified to get my first 'procedure' ever done, but it wasn't terrible at all! And I hate needles! I love my 'natural beauty,' but being able to enhance my lips to make me feel better about myself is life,” she wrote. “First session of lip plumps, and it's just fabulous.”
The post, which showcased her new smooch, received more than 85,000 likes from her 7.4 million followers. Not everyone was impressed with her new look though. Some commenters said that it didn’t look even, and others wrote that she didn’t look attractive with bigger lips. But the reality star shot back and said her lips are naturally like that.
Snooki didn’t indulge the trolls for long. Instead, she promoted her clothing line on The Snooki Shop Tuesday. “LOVING my new styles on my site! Also lots of sales. Check out my clothing line and post pics!!” she wrote on Instagram. She sells fragrances, jewelry, clothing and accessories.
