Song Hye Kyo Stunned Public In A Recent Event, Lost Weight After Song Joong Ki Divorce

Song Joong Ki, 34, and Song Hye Kyo, 37, continue to keep mum about the details of their divorce up to this writing. Neither of the two Hallyu stars has commented or even gave some details about their settlement agreement.

Three months after the Song-Song divorce was finalized, Song Hye Kyo stepped out in public again. The “Encounter” actress graced a promotional activity for a jewelry brand, Chaumet, recently. The ex-ladylove of Song Joong Ki stunned the guests with her elegant black dress. She completed her look with a pair of earrings and a striking necklace.

Avid followers of the “Descendants of the Sun” actress were quick to notice her slimmer frame. “She looks prettier than before,” one fan said. “Life is still great despite [the] divorce. Nothing bad about being an independent woman,” another fan shared, per Malay Mail.

In July, the same publication reported that Song Hye Kyo’s divorce from Song Joong Ki has taken a toll on her health, which caused her to lose a lot of pounds. It added that the “Full House” actress looked “lethargic” during recent appearances and events.

“In addition to her weight loss, her face looked darker and made me worry about her health,” an unknown source told Newsen, per Koreaboo. “She is usually taciturn and doesn’t often talk about her inner thoughts but she recently cried while talking about the hardship related to her married life and it hurt my heart to see her that way,” the same anonymous tipster added.

It furthered that Song Hye Kyo’s fingers became too thin that she could no longer wear her wedding ring at the time. The insider even said that the actress considered looking for a smaller ring to wear. However, it does not matter anymore since she and Song Joong Ki are, already, divorced.

In August, Song Hye Kyo revealed that she will be on a temporary hiatus from showbiz to focus on herself following her infamous divorce from Song Joong Ki. The actress revealed to Hong Kong Tatler that she will not be working until the end of 2019.

Song Hye Kyo is, reportedly, set to star in a new film titled “Anna,” which is said to be a female-centric story that revolves around the actress’ yet-to-be-revealed character. No other details have been made public as of yet. But, she is predicted to start filming early next year.
