'Star Wars Jedi': Latest Trailer Focuses On Cal Kestis And His Fight For Survival
Respawn Entertainment and Electronic Arts first announced the upcoming "Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Orders" during the E3 2018 event. This was followed by a more detailed demo at the recent Star Wars Celebration last April. However, the latest trailer showcases a different side of the game, which many said a much welcome glimpse of the story.
Developed by Respawn Entertainment and published by Electronic Arts, "Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Orders" is an upcoming action-adventure video game, set in the vast Star Wars universe after the action-packed "Episode 3-Revenge of the Sith." Development of the game was first started in 2014, with Respawn Entertainment leading the development charge.
Respawn developed the Star Wars Jedi using the innovative game engine Unreal Engine 4. Drawing some inspiration from critically-acclaimed "Dark Souls" games, the development team’s main goal is to create a game design featuring some deep combat system. The new game will incorporate aspects of the Metroidvania map design.
The first real demo of the "Star Wars Jedi" game came in mid-2019, where publisher EA released a 15-minute demo of the upcoming game during the 2019 E3 event. This was followed by the release of another 25-minute version of the original demo on June 25, 2019.
The latest gameplay trailer focuses more on the playable character named Cal Kestis, who wants a galaxy that is related to the Jedi Order. Cal Kestis has tried to escape from Second Sister, who was trained by Darth Vader. The Second Sisters has only one mission, to hunt down and destroy the remaining Jedi.
An accident struck and forced Cal to use the Force to save one of his friends from falling into the pit. The new trailer also gives players an insight into the gameplay and characters. "Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Orders" will be released on November 15 across all gaming platforms, PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
