'Star Wars: The Rise Of Skywalker': Adam Driver Invites Fans To Premiere
Adam Driver has invited the fans to watch the premiere of “Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker” with the other cast members and also walk the red carpet with him. The actor, who will be reprising his lead role as Kylo Ren, has teamed up with Omaze to support the charity Arts in the Armed Forces with a sweepstakes that gives the fans a chance to watch the film before everybody else.
In a video released online by Omaze, Driver appeared in person to invite the fans to join him to support a worthy cause and also win a chance to join him at the red carpet. Apart from watching the movie before anyone else, the winner and a friend will also get a chance to attend the exclusive after party with all the cast members.
Driver also joked about helping the winner with the “Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker” red carpet look with his extensive experience with such events. He showed pictures of his different looks from other premiere events, and also jokingly shared a picture of him topless.
As a souvenir of the experience, the winner will get a cross guard lightsaber that will be autographed by Driver. In order to enter, the fans need to go to the Omaze website and enter. A donation is not required for people to enter the sweepstakes.
The premiere will take place in Los Angeles. The winner and the friend will be flown into the city and be given accommodations in a 4-star hotel.
The money raised will go to the Arts in the Armed Forces charity that Driver co-founded in 2008. Headquartered in New York, the charity brings arts programs for members of the military and their families.
“Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker” will be released in theaters on Dec. 20. The film will be 2 hours and 35 minutes long.
