Stassi Schroeder Claims More 'Vanderpump Rules' Stars Involved In Scandal That Led To Firing

Stassi Schroeder is speaking out on the racially charged incident that led to her "Vanderpump Rules" axing two years ago.

Schroeder claimed in a new interview that more "Vanderpump Rules" co-stars had been involved in the scandal, though only she and pal Kristen Doute were fired from the Bravo show in 2020 over it.

"I mean the cast members I'm friends with, everyone was there, I mean they witnessed… Lots of other people were a part of what went down," the 33-year-old reality star claimed on the "Skinny Confidential Him and Her" podcast Friday.

"There were more people involved in 'the incident' that I was fired for. … And Kristen and I, obviously we were not gonna take people down with us. So we were like 'Lucky you guys, those of you who didn't get called out for this,'" she added. "So everyone was pretty kind because I think they were feeling lucky that they didn't, that they still had a job."

The pair were fired by Bravo after they received intense backlash for calling the police on Faith Stowers, the only Black cast member to appear in "Vanderpump Rules," in 2018.

In an April interview, Schroeder recalled seeing an article with a tip-line number and believing "in my soul" that the woman in the photo was Stowers, so they called the number.

"Kristen and I thought we did our due diligence…we acted on gossip, and that was the problem. I did not witness anything, like, I didn't witness Faith doing anything, and that is truly…the biggest lesson. You can't go accusing people of things that you've never witnessed before," she told "The Morning Toast" last month.

According to Schroeder, she reached out to Stowers "the week after I lost all my jobs," but the latter refused to speak with her, and she respected her decision.

"I get it. I wouldn't want to talk to me either," Schroeder said.

Schroeder lost a number of endorsements after the incident, including deals with shaving brand Billie and vitamin company Ritual. Grove Collaborative also released a statement at the time saying they had no active collaboration and no planned future partnerships with her.

Stowers spoke about the 2018 incident during an interview with "Floribama Shore" star Candace Rice. She recalled how Schroeder and Doute falsely accused her to get arrested for a crime.

"There was this article on Daily Mail where there was an African American lady. It was a weird photo, so she looked very light-skinned and had these different, weird tattoos. They showcased her, and I guess this woman was robbing people," Stowers said. "And they called the cops and said it was me. This is like, a true story. I heard this from actually Stassi in an interview."

"Hey tweeties, doesn't this ex #pumprules thief look familiar? Someone put her on MTV & gave her a platform for [the] press. I didn't wanna go there, but I'm going there," Doute wrote in a since-deleted tweet.

Jax Taylor also accused Stowers of stealing and ripped her on the show and off-air. He and his wife, Brittany Cartwright, left the show in 2020.

When Stowers was asked about his exit, she said she was proud of Bravo for removing people who are not fit for its network.

"I think that what he did and what Stassi and Kristen did is not a good thing for Bravo," she told TMZ in December 2020. "I'm really proud of that network. It means a lot to everyone."
