‘The Strain’ Season 3 Spoilers: Episode 6 Synopsis Released Online; What Will Happen In ‘The Battle Of Central Park’? [VIDEO]

FX horror series “The Strain” picked up the pace in storytelling in episode 5. Last week, former rat exterminator Fet stumbled upon an important discovery – the strigois were digging new tunnels inside areas marked strigoi-free or safe zones. The hunter discovered that the vampires’ main nest is in Central Park. Meanwhile, Quinlan and Setrakian discovered through the Occido Lumen that the way to defeat The Master is by putting him in a box made of silver.

What will happen in episode 6? After the suspense-driven Battle of Red Hook, Councilwoman Justine Feraldo (Samantha Mathis) is going to prepare her team for the Battle of Central Park. Of course, this time the stakes are higher than ever since hordes of bloodsuckers reside below the iconic park.

According to the synopsis (via SpoilerTV), Fet (Kevin Durand) will strike hard at the heart of the strigoi army while Feraldo embarks on a risky mission to drive the vampires out of Manhattan once and for all.

The mission is risky because they will be attacking the munchers at night. Without the protection of the sun – which makes strigois’ skin burn and weakens them – Justine’s army will be at a disadvantage. Also, her army of men will be outnumbered by a large margin compared to the strigois.

Elsewhere, Gus (Miguel Gomez) and Angel (Joaquin Cosio) will fight for their lives and their freedom. They are still in the chain gang that was set up by Feraldo’s right hand man, Frank. The chain gang forces prisoners to take weapons and fight the vampires residing below the tunnels.

However, Gus and Angel will soon be faced with a moral dilemma on “The Strain” Season 3.
