‘Supergirl’ Season 2 Spoilers: ‘iZombie’ Star Rahul Kohli To Play Lena Luthor’s Ex In Episode 18

Rahul Kohli is paying a visit to National City!
Entertainment Weekly reported that Kohli will guest star as Jack Spheer in Season 2, episode 18 of “Supergirl.” Jack is a charismatic tech genius who has spent decades working on a medical innovation that will potentially eradicate major illnesses. He arrives in National City to talk about his invention to members of the press, including Kara (Melissa Benoist) and Snapper (Ian Gomez).
Interestingly, Jack also happens to be Lena’s (Katie McGrath) ex-lover, so his arrival reunites him with L-Corp’s CEO.
In DC lore, the technology Spheer invented transformed him into Biomax, a villain who had the power of mind control. It’s unclear, however, whether Kohli’s version of the character will have the same fate.
“I’m so excited to be working on Supergirl starring as Jack Spheer,” Kohli said in a statement. “It’s given me the chance to continue my relationship with The CW as well as fulfill my goal of meeting a Kryptonian.”
Kohli recently took to Twitter to thank “Supergirl” fans for giving him a warm welcome.
Thank you for all the warm messages welcoming me to #Supergirl. Will do everything I can to make sure you're entertained on March 27th!

Kohli previously teased his guest starring appearance on “Supergirl” on Twitter last Monday. While the British actor didn’t mention the name of the show on his tweet, he did write that his first day of filming was “perfect.”
Day one wrap on a job I can't talk about BUT I will talk about the awesome cast and crew who made it a perfect first day!

Kohli plays Ravi on The CW’s “iZombie,” which also shoots in Vancouver. But since the rom-com-zom-dram wrapped filming on its upcoming Season 3 last January, the actor had to go back to Vancouver for his “Supergirl” role.
