‘Supergirl’ Season 3, Episode 5: Morgan Returns; Alex, Maggie Make A Decision
Morgan Edge is back in next week’s episode of “Supergirl.”
According to the synopsis for Season 3, episode 5 of the CW series, Morgan (Adrian Pasdar) blames Lena Luthor (Katie McGrath) when multiple children get sick from lead poisoning. Morgan thinks the lead poisoning of the children is caused by Lena’s creation of the lead bomb, which she made to save National City from the Daxamites at the end of last season. While Lena knows she never intended any harm, she fears that there may have been a flaw in her design, leaving her responsible.
Kara Danvers (Melissa Benoist) teams up with Samantha Arias (Odette Annable) to clear Lena’s name, but it turns out to be harder than they thought.
In the trailer for the episode, Lena seemingly takes the matter into her hands. During a meeting with Morgan, the new owner of CatCo Worldwide Media pulls out a gun and points it to the real estate developer. But in an unexpected twist, it seems that it is Lena who needs saving. At the end of the promo clip, the L-Corp CEO appears to be in an aircraft that is about to crash.
Elsewhere in next week’s episode, Alex Danvers (Chyler Leigh) and Maggie Sawyer (Floriana Lima) make a crucial decision about the future of their relationship.
At the end of Season 3, episode 4, Alex broke down and revealed to Kara that she really wants to have children despite previously declaring that she and Maggie don’t have plans to have kids.
“I agreed because it’s what she wanted,” Alex explained. “Maggie’s not gonna change her mind. The only way that we’re gonna work through it is if I let it go. And I’ve tried. … I convinced myself that living a life with her it was enough.” But after watching Ruby performs at a school program, Alex realized that she can’t imagine a life without having her own children. Will this lead Alex to break up with Maggie?
“Supergirl” Season 2, episode 5, titled “Damage,” airs on Monday, Nov. 6 at 8 p.m. EDT on The CW.
