‘Supernatural’ Spinoff ‘Wayward Sisters’ Starring Kim Rhodes To Air On The CW?
“Supernatural” spinoff “Wayward Sisters” starring Kim Rhodes may find a home in The CW.
According to Deadline, the spinoff will center on Rhodes’ character, Sheriff Jody Mills. “Wayward Sisters” is not yet the final title for the spinoff, but it could be introduced in an upcoming episode of “Supernatural” Season 13. The premise for the series states that Sheriff Mills will team up with a group of young women who were orphaned by supernatural tragedies, and they will be creating a monster-fighting force. Additionally, the spinoff will be about the sisterhood of girls in a foster family.

TV Line reported that “Wayward Sisters” is being helmed by the writers and producers of “Supernatural,” namely, Andrew Dabb, Robert Berens, Robert Singer and Phil Sgriccia.
Meanwhile, there are speculations that two characters from “Supernatural” will be featured in the offshoot. Claire Novak (Kathryn Newton) and Alex Jones (Katherine Ramdeen) will share multiple scenes with Sheriff Mills. The latter was first introduced in “Supernatural” in Season 5.
The CW previously developed a spinoff for “Supernatural,” titled “Supernatural: Bloodlines.” However, the project never made it beyond a pilot. “Bloodlines” was centered on the mafia-esque monster families that run the underbelly of Chicago. They are being tracked by a new breed of hunters, while the humans residing in their area are left unaware of who or what they really are.
In other news, “Supernatural” alum Mark Sheppard recently slammed rumors that his character, Crowley, will be featured in new episodes of the series. Sheppard also posted a photo of himself via Instagram and thanked his fans for their support and love for his character.
Immediately after Sheppard’s departure was announced, “Supernatural” co- executive producer Jim Michaels hinted on the possibility of Crowley returning as a guest star. This statement did not sit well with Sheppard who called out Michaels for posting a very misleading tweet. The actor also said that as of the writing of his tweet, there are no talks about Crowley returning to “Supernatural” Season 13.
New episodes of the hit The CW series are expected to premiere in the fall.
