Tarek El Moussa Puts Christina El Moussa Feud Rumors To Rest With New Instagram Post

Amid rumors about Christina and Tarek El Moussa apparently throwing shade at each other on social media, the latter took to his Instagram account Monday to put an end to the speculation.

Recent posts from the "Flip or Flop" stars hinted the two were indirectly taking shots at each other, but Tarek seemingly cleared the air.

"I'm a day late and a dollar short... but... I want to wish Christina a happy Mother's Day [sic] Tay and Bray love her to the moon and back!" Tarek captioned a photo of his children.

According to reports, Tarek and Christina got involved in a social media feud after the former joked about the explosive fight with his estranged wife that led to their split in a now-deleted tweet. The post reportedly showed Tarek posing under a sign that read, “No guns, weapons of any type,” and he added the words “or helicopters,” tagging Christina along with a middle finger emoji.

Fans quickly speculated Tarek was hinting at the May 2016 fight with Christina that forced cops to arrive at their home. Many believed the duo split because of the incident, but the former couple called it a "misunderstanding." In December, they announced their split, and the following month Tarek filed for divorce from Christina without specifying a reason.

According to TMZ, which cited sources, Tarek uploaded the post thinking Christina would find it funny, and he decided to put the middle finger emoji in the picture to point at the entire drama that took place in May 2016. However, the post did not seem to go down well with Christina as she shared a cryptic message on her Instagram account, without naming Tarek.

"No time for bull---- when you're building an empire" the message read against the backdrop of the Empire State Building.

Tarek reportedly “liked” the post shared by Christina and later that day shared a cryptic message himself.

“#life is about having #fun and enjoying every #moment….people shouldn’t take things so seriously especially JOKES that are meant to be playful and fun… happy Friday!!” he wrote alongside a photo of him surfing.

Since her split from Tarek, a lot has happened in Christina's life with her brief relationship with Gary Anderson, later moving to an alleged relationship with Nate Thompson.

While there were tensions between Christina and Tarek following their split, the two decided to co-parent their two children while continuing to film their HGTV show.

"Honestly, I'm doing really good. I'm in a really good place. The kids are really happy, they're healthy, Tarek and I are in a good spot. We have a lot of things that we're working on, cool things coming in the future, so we're just looking forward," Christina told Entertainment Tonight in March.

"Tarek and I have worked together about 10 years, and we're going to continue to work together. We're getting along really, really well right now."
