Tarek El Moussa Shares Details Of Proposal To Fiancée Heather Rae Young [SEE PHOTOS]

Tarek El Moussa and Heather Rae Young are now engaged.

The "Flip or Flop" star has found a new love in Young after his divorce from his ex-wife, Christina El Moussa, in 2017. El Moussa and Young are now ready to take their relationship to the next level. The reality star took to Instagram and shared a snap of him down on one knee holding a ring during his proposal while Young looking surprise as she covered her face with both of her hands.

"This is the exact moment I got down on one knee and asked @heatherraeyoung to be my wife!" El Mussa wrote in the caption.

"You just never know where life is going to take you. If you told me 13 months ago I would be engaged today I would have called you crazy. You just can’t predict what’s going to happen. One moment you are sitting there and the next your life is completely different."

Moussa recalled the time he saw Young and realized that his life would never be the same. Young has since become his best friend. He also complimented her for being "incredible" to his two sons Taylor and Brayden.

"Some of you have followed me for years and have supported me throughout my struggles. I want to say thank you and I couldn’t have gotten here without you!" he added. He then concluded the post with a question, "Now.. who wants to see the RING?”

Young shared a closer look at the ring on her Instagram account.

"FINALLY I can show you my insane stunning ring that my love @therealtarekelmoussa chose for me to wear for the rest of our lives!!!" she wrote.

El Moussa opted for an 8-carat because they consider 8 a lucky number and got Young an Emerald cut because it's her favorite. "The Malibu Tapes" star said she's obsessed with the ring and couldn't stop staring at it.

"It’s perfect for me in every way! Thank you Mr. El Moussa for making me the happiest!" Young added.

"The Comedy Bang! Bang!" actress also recalled a cute story with El Moussa when he was filming "Flipping 101" and how he ordered the engagement ring for her.

"I was hanging out in the sprinter, Tarek came in & shut the blinds and said do not under an circumstance come outside or open the blinds," Young recalled.

"I asked him for days ‘what were you doing, when can you tell me?’ He wouldn’t budge. It was a hard no! Well turns out he was meeting with Benny to look at the diamond They had it shipped in from Europe. I’ll let my fiancé tell you the rest!!”

El Moussa and Young do not have a wedding date yet due to the coronavirus pandemic, but El Moussa said it's happening when things are back to normal.

"With the Coronavirus going on, it's really important to us that we have a proper wedding so whenever we get back to normal, we will be getting married," Tarek told E! News. "We're expecting it to be less than a year."
