Taylor Swift’s ex-boyfriends might not appreciate her songs, but Rozonda “Chilli” Thomas from the girl group TLC is a huge fan.

The “No Scrubs” hitmaker told People that it is her dream to work with Swift, who often covers their 1999 hit single “Unpretty” when she is on tour. “I like Taylor Swift a lot,” Chilli said of Swift. “She has really fun, catchy songs. It’s so funny, I always say, any guy that’s gonna date her, just be careful, because if it doesn’t work out, they know by now the next single is gonna be about them! I love how real she is. I really respect her a lot as an artist.”

TLC is comprised of Chilli, Tionne “T-Boz” Watkins and the late Lisa “Left Eye” Lopes, who passed away in 2002. Chilli and T-Boz just released an eponymous LP, their first album in 15 years and their first without Left Eye.

Given their renewed zest for music, Chilli said she would be open to making music with Swift or performing with her sometime. “I would love that,” she said. “We really need to make that happen — put her right there in the middle, playing the guitar, and we can harmonize away. I think that would be awesome if that ever happened. Let’s do it!”

Speaking of breakup songs, Swift has written several hitmakers thanks to her failed romances. The most obvious one is the song “Dear John,” which is about “Love On the Weekend” singer John Mayer. “Back to December” was reportedly a tribute to actor Taylor Lautner, while “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together” could be about Jake Gyllenhaal.

Swift was also apparently inspired after her split from One Direction crooner Harry Styles, since she reportedly wrote two songs about him: “Style” and “I Knew You Were Trouble.” Swift also wrote a song about the woman her ex Joe Jonas dumped her for, Camilla Belle, and she titled it, “Better Than Revenge.”

Not all of Swift’s songs are about breakups, however, since “Bad Blood” is reportedly about her feud with Katy Perry. So far, Swift has not written anything about her recent beaus, Calvin Harris and Tom Hiddleston.
