‘Teen Mom 2’ Season 8 Sneak Peeks: Watch Jenelle Evans Cries In Court, Chelsea Houska’s Pregnancy Reveal
“Teen Mom 2” is coming back in the New Year! MTV will premiere Season 8 of the docuseries on Monday, Jan. 2, and in preparation for the new episodes, has released four previews of the coming installments. Each promo focus on one of the show’s stars and we’ve got all of them for your viewing pleasure below.
Jenelle Evans is featured in court in her sneak peek. The soon-to-be mother of three can be seen taking the stand to testify in her assault and battery court case against her ex Nathan Griffith’s girlfriend Jessica Henry. In the clip, Jenelle tells the court she felt threatened and disrespected, which is why she threw a cup of water at Jessica. When Jenelle shares that Nathan allegedly told her he would take away their son Kaiser from her, she breaks down in tears. “I’m just waiting for it to be over,” Jenelle sobs, claiming she’s kept herself out of trouble since the incident.
Not all of the clips are as dramatic as Jenelle’s. Kailyn Lowry’s shows her tackling her quarter-life crisis following her split from husband Javi Marroquin by skydiving. Initially fearing the jump, she tells the cameras it was the “most incredible thing” she’s ever done after landing on solid ground.
While Kail deals with changes in her romantic life, Leah Messer’s clip shows she’s adjusting well to being single. In her preview she tells her pal her ex-husband Jeremy Calvert has told her he’s engaged to be married. Jeremy and Leah’s daughter responds by telling her mother she needs a boyfriend and wants one of her own too. “I’m my own boyfriend,” Leah responds.
Chelsea Houska’s preview is by far the most joyous. Her clip shows her announcing to her daughter Aubree, whom she shares with ex Adam Lind, that she and now-husband Cole DeBoer are expecting a baby. After reading a card that reveals she’s going to be a big sister, Chelsea and Cole sport big smiles while telling Aubree they love her.
As the “Teen Mom 2” Season 8 clips reveal, the new episodes will be jam-packed. MTV’s synopsis for the premiere, airing Monday, Jan. 2, at 9 p.m. EST, promises viewers will get to see Jenelle’s time in court, Leah’s struggles with Addie missing her father and Chelsea’s meeting with Adam’s ex.
