‘Teen Mom 2’ Star Jenelle Evans Opens Up About Being Pregnant With Baby Girl, Reveals She Previously Suffered Miscarriage

Jenelle Evans is excited that she will soon add a baby girl to her growing brood. In a new interview, the “Teen Mom 2” star opened up about her pregnancy saying that she’s “very happy” she’s having a daughter. Jenelle also revealed that she and boyfriend David Eason suffered a miscarriage shortly before learning about her current pregnancy.

Speaking to Us Weekly Friday, Jenelle said she was told in April that she was pregnant again after her endocrinologist took blood samples to find out what was making her so sick. Jenelle’s health problems were documented on Season 7 of the MTV show. “I was really, really confused because I was seeing an endocrinologist for my health issues I’ve been having,” she said. “And she told me that she did blood tests on me to check everything out. She wasn’t even trying to check for pregnancy.”

A few days after learning she was expecting, Jenelle said she had to fly to Los Angeles to attend the “Teen Mom 2” Season 7 reunion taping. While out on the West Coast, the reality star said she set up an appointment with “The Doctor’s” Dr. Peter Weiss to get a second opinion about her possibly being pregnant because she had started bleeding. After conducting some tests, Weiss told Jenelle she wasn’t pregnant.

According to Us, Jenelle said when she returned home to North Carolina she alerted her endocrinologist about Weiss’ negative pregnancy tests and that’s when she found out she had miscarried the baby. About a month after receiving the sad news, Jenelle said she found out she pregnant yet again. “I’ve got my girl now, and I’m very ecstatic, very happy to be actually decorating stuff and all girls stuff,” she told the magazine. “Everyone is just so super excited for me!”

After months of denying she was pregnant, Jenelle confirmed the news Wednesday in an Instagram post. Sharing a photo of David holding her baby bump, she wrote: “We couldn’t be any happier!” she wrote. In the post Jenelle revealed that she and David are naming their baby girl Ensley Jolie Eason, and she’s due Jan. 28. David also posted about Jenelle’s pregnancy sharing a picture of them kissing on a boat. “IT’S A GIRL YALL!! I’m so happy im bout ta cry!!! I love you so much @j evans1219 and I can’t wait to meet our baby girl Ensley Jolie Eason,” he posted.

This will be the third child for Jenelle, who has a 7-year-old son named Jace with ex Andrew Lewis and a 2-year-old son named Kaiser with her ex-fiancé Nathan Griffin. David is also dad to daughter Maryssa with his ex.
