Teresa Giudice's Husband Surprises Her With An Over-The-Top Christmas Gift After Prison Release
Christmas came early in the Giudice household. Not only will Teresa Giudice be home to celebrate the holidays with her husband and four children, but it seems Santa popped by with a very special gift for "The Real Housewives of New Jersey" star.
According to People magazine, Joe Giudice was ready and waiting for his wife to arrive at her New Jersey home early Wednesday. Photos showed him standing outside their massive mansion and, according to sources, he was incredibly anxious to see his wife outside of prison for the first time in 11 months. Waiting in the driveway with him was a brand new Lexus SUV with a big red bow on it, just for Teresa, 43.
"Joe was waiting for her in the driveway smiling, he looked like he was anxiously anticipating her arrival," a source said.
Joe wasn't the only member of the family celebrating Teresa's return with gifts and kind gestures. Her daughters, Gia, Gabriella, Milania and Audriana, made hand-drawn signs for their home's front door. The signs read, "we missed you" and "we love you" with hearts and various designs drawn on them. Sources said their reunion was "very emotional, very private."
As previously reported, Teresa was released from Danbury Women's Correctional Facility at 5 a.m. EST Wednesday. She was picked up by her lawyer, James Leonard, who drove her from Danbury, Connecticut, to New Jersey where she reunited with her family. Although her lawyer said in a statement released to People magazine that "she is free," Teresa will be held on house arrest until February 2016 for fraud charges. Her daughter Gia, 14, and several others close to her have celebrated her release on Twitter.
