TikTok star Griffin Johnson has publicly apologized to Dixie D’Amelio over a month after their scandalous breakup.

The two broke up in late July after Johnson allegedly cheated on D’Amelio with two other women. In a statement Tuesday, Johnson apologized to his former girlfriend and his fans and also accepted he behaved "immaturely."

"People have been asking me for a long time to make an apology but honestly I didn’t say anything until now to limit press & attention outside the TikTok community. Sadly, it’s been over a month now and if anything it has gotten worse so I want to end this because it is completely out of hand," he said.

"Our relationship was put out into the public out of our control and I have been taking heat ever since," he said, adding the relationship was "far from perfect on both sides."

"I am sorry to everyone that followed me before, I’m not always proud of my decisions. Most importantly, I want to publicly apologize to Dixie for the hurt that I have caused. I am human, I am not proud of some of my choices," he said, adding that he will "keep it real with everyone that follows me."

"I have dealt with a lot of this in an immature manner because honestly, I had no idea what to do. I am not asking for forgiveness, I just want to cut the b------t and let everyone understand my thoughts and know that I am sorry," he concluded.

Following their breakup, Johnson faced the ire on social media after he uploaded a "fake" apology. He uploaded a YouTube video and captioned it, "The real story… of how I messed up." People assumed it was an apology to D’Amelio but soon found out it was an "apology" to his fans for not hitting the one million subscription mark on the platform.

"I made a bet with Bryce that I was going to hit a million subs on YouTube before his birthday. I messed up… just wanted to tell you guys I’m sorry," he sarcastically said in the video.
