Tom Hiddleston Opens Up About Romance With Taylor Swift, Calls Her An ‘Amazing Woman’
Not all of Taylor Swift’s past relationships ended nicely, and she has even fought with one or two of her former flames.
But her most recent ex-boyfriend, Tom Hiddleston, is different. He has nothing but nice things to say about Swift, and he even went as far as calling her an “amazing woman.”
“She's generous and kind and lovely, and we had the best time,” he told GQ.
Sadly, the spotlight put quite a strain on their relationship, so Hiddleston said they were unable to make things work.
“I only know the woman I met. She’s incredible. A relationship in the limelight…a relationship always takes work. A relationship in the limelight takes work. And it's not just the limelight. It's everything else,” he said.
A lot of critics have slammed their relationship as nothing more than a publicity stunt, but Hiddleston would beg to differ. “Of course it was real,” he said.
After breaking up with Swift, Hiddleston got himself busy working on the new Marvel film “Thor: Ragnarok,” which is directed by Taika Waititi.
As exciting as it was to reprise his role as Loki, Hiddleston admitted that there was something he looked forward to more.
“The best thing about it, honestly, is working with Chris again,” Hiddleston told Interview Magazine. “I first met him in Kenneth Branagh’s house in England in 2009. We were mere children, in the very beginning of our acting journeys. We made an instant connection, and it’s been extraordinary to share the ride with him—this mad journey with Marvel.”
There will be several new players in the third movie of the “Thor” franchise, according to Geek. Cate Blanchett is going to play Marvel’s first female villain, Hela, while Tessa Thompson will be the heroine Valkyrie. “Star Trek” star Karl Urban will be playing Skurge the Executioner. In addition, Jeff Goldblum has been tasked to portray The Grandmaster, also known as an “Elder.”
“Thor: Ragnarok” has been slated for release on Nov. 3.
