The first quarter revenues stood at $99 million versus the analysts' estimate of $100.94 million. The company gave a revenue forecast of $170-$190 million, above the consensus estimate of $129.7 million for the second quarter.

Shares of Rudolph Technologies Inc (RTEC) rose 15.07 percent in the post-market to close at $9.70.
