Tray Savage Shot To Death; A Look At Stars We Lost In 2020

Rapper Tray Savage died Friday (June 19). The 26-year-old rapper was shot and killed while driving in Chatham, Chicago.

“Got The Mac” singer was shot in the shoulder and neck, and he was taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead, TMZ reported.

“The entire Chief Glo Gang Family are extremely saddened about the loss of Kentray 'Tray Savage' Young who was taken too soon today,” a representative said, via Billboard.

“His first love was always devoted to his fiancé, kids, family, and music. Regrettably, we can’t take back the actions done by others, but we stand firmly behind the fact that Kentray 'Tray Savage' Young should be here today alive and continuing his amazing contributions to society. His friends, family, and entertainment family will continue to honor his legacy,” the statement added.

• Vera Lynn – The British singer died on June 18. She was 103. She released popular songs like “The White Cliffs of Dover” and “We’ll Meet Again,” US Weekly reported.
• Gregory Tyree Boyce – The 30-year-old actor was found dead on May 13 in his condo in Las Vegas. He was seen in “Twilight.”
• Little Richard – Legendary musician who gave the world hits like “Tutti Frutti” and “Good Golly, Miss Molly,” died at 87 on May 9.
• Brian Howe – Lead singer of The Bad Company passed away from cardiac arrest on May 6 at his home in Florida. Howe was 66.
• Cady Groves – The country singer passed away on May 2. She was 30.
• Irrfan Khan – “Jurassic World” star and legendary Bollywood actor Khan died on Apr. 29 in Mumbai, India. The actor was 53.
