Tristan Thompson Inspired To Work Out After Seeing Khloe Kardashian’s Abs On Magazine Cover

Tristan Thompson was proud of his ex and co-parent Khloe Kardashian after the latter flaunted her fit frame on the cover of Health magazine.

The 30-year-old NBA player expressed his admiration for the 37-year-old reality star when Kardashian showed off her cover photo for the health and lifestyle magazine on social media.

The “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” alum took to Instagram Wednesday to share the cover of Health magazine”s November 2021 issue where she put her abs on display in gray and taupe workout gear.

“Thank you Health Magazine for having me on your cover. I worked so hard in the gym for this and I celebrated with pizza (my weakness) right afterward,” Kardashian wrote in the caption of the photo, which was captured by Dennis Leupold. She also made sure to credit her trainers Jesse O’Hara and Joël “Coach Joe” Bouraïma.

The Sacramento Kings player left a comment on the photo shortly after his ex posted it. According to Thompson, Kardashian’s photo motivated him to work on his abs. He also expressed how proud he was of his ex for being a fitness inspiration for many people.

“Wow!! You are so motivational, Koko! So proud of your hard work and dedication to your healthcare and fitness. Abs of steel!! BRB I need to do some sit-ups,” he wrote in the comments.

Kardashian’s mom, Kris Jenner, also praised her daughter after seeing the post.

“Wow Khloe!!!!!!!! You are so beautiful and amazing inside and out and show all of us how to be empowered, inspirational, happy, and peaceful and that laughter is the best medicine… I love you so much,” Jenner wrote.

Meanwhile, Kardashian and Thompson have maintained an amicable relationship as they coparent their 3-year-old daughter True following their second split in June. A source said that the exes are keeping things friendly, but this hasn't stopped Thompson from leaving some flirty comments on his ex’s Instagram from time to time, according to People.

The ex-lovers first sparked romance rumors way back in September 2016. Two years later, they welcomed their daughter. However, they broke up in February 2019 after Thompson got involved in multiple cheating scandals.

Last year, when they quarantined together as coparents amid the coronavirus pandemic, Kardashian and Thompson decided to give their romance another shot. But the pair once again split earlier this year.

An insider confirmed their split to Us Weekly in June, adding that Kardashian and Thompson have chosen to remain amicable for the sake of their daughter.

“They broke up a few weeks ago. They remain amicable toward each other and will continue to coparent,” said the source.
