Truth About Angelina Jolie 'Pining' For 'Former Flame' Amid Brad Pitt Meetings

Angelina Jolie reportedly wants to try again with a "former flame," according to a new report. However, there seems to be no truth to this speculation.

OK! magazine recently claimed that Jolie is ready to find love and jump back into the dating scene almost three years after ending her relationship with Brad Pitt. The Oscar-winning actress and mom-of-six reportedly wants to date "former flame" Colin Farrell, who is apparently the "one that got away."

The report further asserted that Jolie and Farrell may have had a short fling when they were filming the movie "Alexander" in 2004. “She’s always had a thing for Colin," a so-called source claimed in the report.

The questionable tipster went on to claim that the reason why Jolie and Farrell never actually got into a serious, long-term relationship was that they had different priorities at the time. The actor reportedly "wanted to party all night," while Jolie had already adopted her eldest child, Maddox.

“She’s finally ready for a fresh start,” the unnamed insider claimed.

However, there is absolutely no truth to these speculations. Gossip Cop had previously debunked a 2013 Perez Hilton article claiming that Jolie wanted to be Farrell but settled for Pitt. But the rumor-debunking site clarified that this wasn't true six years ago and it's still not true now.

In addition, while the two did film "Alexander" together in 2004, Jolie had already adopted Maddox two years prior to the movie's shooting.

Jolie has been linked to several men since she filed for divorce from Pitt in 2016, ending their 12-year relationship and two-year marriage. She has been plagued with romance rumors involving Sean Penn, PraCH Ly and even a British billionaire.

The actress, however, is focusing on raising her career, humanitarian work and six children: Maddox, 17, Pax, 15, Zahara, 14, Shiloh, 12, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 10.

Jolie recently took her kids to the premiere of "Dumbo," which coincidentally stars Farrell. The actress looked gorgeous in a backless Atelier Versace gown that showed off her extensive collection of tattoos.

She also recently headed to New York City, where she and her kids attended several events and enjoyed some outings around the Big Apple.
