Truth About Katie Holmes, Emilio Vitolo Jr’s Crumbling Relationship: Report

Katie Holmes and Emilio Vitolo Jr.’s romance is seemingly crumbling, a new report has revealed.

The 42-year-old Hollywood actress’ relationship with the 33-year-old chef is cooling off, as proven by their lack of interaction in recent weeks, unnamed sources told Page Six Wednesday.

As Holmes is currently busy filming a new movie, Vitolo is focused on his work at his family’s restaurant in New York City called Emilio’s Ballato. As such, the actress is only able to come back to the Big Apple sporadically.

The speculation that things are not going so well between the two intensified when Vitolo was nowhere to be seen when Holmes celebrated her daughter Suri’s 15th birthday in NYC.

An insider disclosed to the media outlet that Holmes and Vitolo have not officially called it quits, but they have definitely cooled off. The source also noted that things were going at such a fast pace between the two prior to this point, and now Holmes is prioritizing her daughter more than her beau.

“Katie has a lot of big priorities in her life — she’s a single mom, her daughter always comes first and things were moving very fast,” the insider said.

A rep for Holmes was asked for comment on the issue but did not immediately respond.

Over the weekend, Jamie Foxx’s ex-girlfriend was photographed in the Big Apple as she stepped out to purchase some supplies for Suri’s birthday, which fell on Sunday. In the photos obtained by Daily Mail, the “Dawson’s Creek” alum rocked a black bomber jacket and matching jeans, as well as a black face mask, for the outing.

Holmes and Vitolo first sparked dating rumors when they were spotted together at the Soho restaurant Antique Garage last September. At the time, Vitolo had just broken up with his ex-fiancée, 24-year-old designer Rachel Emmons, after two years of being together.

It did not take long for their relationship to escalate after their first sighting together as the two were spotted making out on different occasions around Manhattan in the same month.

Putting an end to the dating speculations, Vitolo decided to make their romance public via Instagram on Holmes’ 42nd birthday on Dec. 18. He shared a black-and-white photo of them laughing together while the actress is sitting on his lap.

“The most amazing, kindest, beautiful person. Every time I see your face it makes me smile. Happy Birthday!!! I love you!!” he captioned the post.

Holmes quickly reciprocated Vitolo’s sweet message in the comments as she wrote, “Thank you so much my Love. I love u too,” according to USA Today.
