Truth About Rumors Prince Harry, Meghan’s Son Archie On ‘Lockdown’ Until First Birthday
KEY POINTS
- Archie is reportedly on lockdown until his first birthday
- Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been keeping Archie away from the limelight
- The last time he was seen in public was during Meghan Markle's walk with her dogs
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s son, Archie, is allegedly on lockdown until his first birthday.
New Idea used the term lockdown amid the coronavirus pandemic but the outbreak has no connection with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s 10-month-old son.
During the royal couple’s outing in London, they barely spoke about Archie. When a royal fan asked how the young boy is doing, Markle said that her son is into everything.
Royal fans have not also seen Archie in months. His last sighting was in Canada while Markle was walking her dogs. Prince Harry and his wife also released a photo of their son on Christmas Day.
But to say that Archie has been on lockdown is absolutely incorrect. Prince Harry and Markle are simply protecting their safety and security of their son so they decided to leave him in Canada when they returned to the United Kingdom.
Archie will also be celebrating his first birthday on May 6 and it is possible that his birthday party will be a private event attended by his parents’ closest friends. Since the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are no longer considered to be working royals, there’s no reason to make their son’s first birthday party a massive event.
Meanwhile, Archie also made headlines in recent weeks amid claims that his parents are trying to keep him away from his cousins and the other members of the royal family.
“The Queen’s worst fear is that she may never see Archie again,” a source told Us Weekly.
Another source told Closer Weekly that Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis have been asking about their cousin Archie. And since they’ve only met him a few times, Kate Middleton took the liberty to show her kids a photo of Archie.
“Kate’s shown them photos of their cousin and they ask about him, but with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle moving to North America it’s unlikely that they’ll ever get to know him properly,” the source said.
